The memorandum & the financial model
$700k equity reopens the property and reaches profitability — the only capital the business strictly needs. A $1.64M convertible standby funds conservation and growth, drawn only if cash is short (~$505k in the base case).Total committed $2.34M.
Revenue ~$4.74M, EBITDA ~$1.97M (41.5%) — premium pricing on a low Peruvian cost base. Returns on the equity ~4.2× MOIC / ~24% IRR. Downside still holds ~23%.
The hard part is already done and already worked: titled land (SUNARP), built lodge, corporate & tax structure (Ley 27037 to 2048), and demand validated at premium prices. What remains is a disciplined restart.

A group, not a single company
Led by founder & CEO Olga Sytnyk — founder of Unique Ukraine, one of Ukraine's largest domestic tour operators, then advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine on forestry and ecological reform. AWAKEN runs as a regional group in Loreto, with its own science institution TERI and institutional standing across the Peruvian environmental state.
Memoranda of understanding and collaboration with Peru's Ministry of the Environment (MINAM), the Regional Government of Loreto (GOREL), national forestry and protected-area agencies, the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce of Peru, and the universities UNAP and IIAP.
